Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her mother is English and her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She earned her BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was on stage in several productions as a student like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her career as an actor through the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she was cast as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also played the lead character in How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Some of her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe first aired in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast at The CW for only two episodes, before it was removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In late May 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the past two seasons, was to leave the series following a guest appearance in the premiere episode of the new season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and he is also a part of the cast on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey during winters. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old, she joined Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley was a competitive dancer in all the major categories until the time she graduated from high school. She competed in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and acrobatics. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top Soloist".
