
Jennifer Joanna Aniston (February 11 29th, 1969) is better known by her stage name Jennifer Aniston, is an American actress, producer and director. Her birthplace was in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California. John Aniston, and Nancy Dow are her parents. Since she was little she was raised with actors, her godfather was actor Telly Savalas. She was a close acquaintance of Jennifer's father. Her father's acting career took her to different parts of the US. Their parents divorced when she lived in New York. She was taken away from her mother. Her first schooling began at the Rudolf Steiner School when she was only six years old. This Waldorf-style institution is inspired by the philosophy from Rudolf Steiner. The school was a success in the realm of art, and had her work displayed and presented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Aniston decided to pursue acting after she watched the Broadway play children of a Lesser God. In the age of fifteen she was accepted into The New York High School for Actors. After finishing her studies, she worked in a fast food restaurant called The Jackson Hole located in Manhattan. Her good performances led to her being a part of several Off-Broadway musicals such as For Dear Life at New York Public Theater as well as Dancing On Checker's Grave. Los Angeles was her new location in 1989, and she looked for more roles. Her appearances were in a variety of shows on television before in the early 1990s.
